District Pools

2025 Pool Information

The Timnath Ranch Metropolitan District pool is scheduled to open for Memorial Day Weekend in 2025. To ensure access, please complete the required forms. Please note that all residents must be current on their Metro District Operations & Maintenance Fees to use the pool.

The District offers access to two pools for residents:

  • 4950 School House Drive
  • 6424 Saddle Horn Drive

Summer Pool Hours:

  • School House Drive Pool: 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • West Village Pool (Saddle Horn Drive): 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM

May 26th-30th the pool will be on a reduced schedule open from 4:30pm-7:30pm weather permitting. 

Please be advised that pool hours will adjust beginning the second Monday of August, with shortened schedules. Both pools will close on September 1st at 6:00 PM.

NEW THIS YEAR: Please be advised that the West Village Pool will now have a pool attendant on-site to monitor access. However, a lifeguard will not be present. Pool use is at your own risk.

The pools have new rules effective for 2025.  Please review the pool rules below. Please note the minimum age has changed to 16, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

  1. Lifeguards and pool attendants have the authority to enforce all pool rules. 
  2. No one will be allowed in the swimming area unless the pool is open and a lifeguard is on duty.
  3. No running, rough play, dunking, wrestling, or other improper conduct causing undue disturbances on or about the pool.
  4. No diving.
  5. Objects or items deemed to be dangerous or unsafe by lifeguard are not permitted in pool area.   
  6. No glass allowed in the pool deck.
  7. All swimmers must shower before using the pool.
  8. Pool users must wear swimming suits or swimming trunks upon entry into the pool. Clothing such as cut-offs, gym shorts and underwear are not acceptable.
  9. Inner tubes, inflated boats, and rafts are not permitted in the pools. Small toys or balls may be allowed in the pools at the Manger’s discretion.
  10. Persons with open sores or skin diseases are not permitted in the pool. Any person who or have had diarrhea in the past two weeks, should not enter the water.
  11. No animals, other than a registered service animal will be allowed.
  12. No tobacco use permitted, nor are any vaping or other mechanical smoking devices allowed.
  13. No alcohol allowed.
  14. Staff has the authority to close the pool due to weather emergencies, water contamination, etc. – National Lightning Safety Institute guidelines will be followed in determining if the pool must be cleared during storm.
  15. Failure to comply with staff or follow pool rules can result in loss of access.
  16. No cloth or disposable diapers. Swim diapers only.
  17. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.   

 

Note: Pool hours are subject to change due to weather conditions. The District does not send out notifications when the pools are closed due to inclement weather.
